Evaluation of value of statistical life in health costs attributable to air pollution |
|
|
Abstract Value of statistical life(VSL) in health costs attributable to China’s air pollution was measured by contingent valuation method (CVM), and its influencing factors were analyzed. The value of statistical life in health costs attributable to China’s air pollution was about 1 million yuan/year. Through interval linear regression model analysis, it was found that the age, education level, annual per capita income, health status and family size were extremely closely correlated with the value of statistical life, but the city variable wasn’t closely correlated with the value of statistical life.
