Abstract:According to the theories and approaches of the ecosystem health and the press-state-response model, the indicators, assessment method and technological process of ecosystem health of nature reserve based on HJ-1 CCD remote sensing imagery were built in this study. Meanwhile, by using HJ-1 CCD remote sensing imagery, according to the assessment cell of grid, the study assessed the present situation of ecosystem health and explores the spatial distributing rules of Xianghai wetland nature reserve. The following results were obtained: In the structure of wetland ecosystem health of Xianghai wetland nature reserve, not-healthy area 46.49%, medium-healthy area18.02%, less-healthy area 21.18%, healthy area 14.31%. The wetland ecosystem heath was ordinary. The human interference strength was very strong. The organization and structure was irrational. The main reasons were attributed to the increasing human activity and the decrease of precipitation per-year.
